Visa Notes & Fees
  • Passport:Original Passport with validity of minimum six months and minimum two blank pages for visa stamp.
    a) Copies of passport pages showing Foreign Exchange Endorsement.
    b) Attach all your old passports (if any)
  • Kenya Visa Application Form:
    Two visa application forms duly filled and signed.
    Note: Applicants should mention their email id and telephone number on the application form.
  • Photo Specification: Two recent passport size photographs with matt or semi matt finish, 60%-80% face coverage, white background and without border (Size: 35mm x 45mm).
    Please Note: Photograph should not be more than 3 months old,scanned/stapled and should not be used in any of the previous visas.
  • Covering Letter:Covering Letter from applicant on business letter head mentioning name, designation,passport number, purpose and duration of visit in brief. The letter should be duly signed by authorized signatory with company stamp and addressed to – The Visa Officer,Kenya High Commission, New Delhi.
    Please Note:Covering Letter on Letterhead if applicant is Self Employed or on plain paper if Employed .
Financials
  • Foreign Exchange receipt or Credit cards photocopy
  • Bank Statement for the last 3 months.
Other
  • Hotel Booking: Hotel confirmation, Tour confirmation and Day-to-Day tour itinerary
  • Ticket: Confirmed return Air Ticket.
  • Medical:
    a) Applicant has to carry an Original YFC (Yellow Fever Certificate) at the time of travel.
    b) Applicant should have completed a full course of vaccination against Polio, preferably with Oral Polio Vaccine (OPV), and should receive an additional dose of OPV at least six weeks before each international journey. The Validity of a full course of vaccination will be one year.
Please Note
  • Only single entry visa is issued at New Delhi, if the applicant requires multiple entries, it can be endorsed valid for re – entry by the Immigration Authorities at Kenya.
  • The Kenya Embassy also issues a combined East Africa Tourist Visa which will be valid for 3 African Countries (Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda). Kindly refer the same checklist for combined East Africa Tourist Visa.
  • **IMPORTANT NOTICE: Kindly be informed that, with immediate effect Kenya High Commission Delhi has stopped accepting manual visa applications. Visa for all categories has to be applied online. Indian passport holders can also avail visa on arrival at Kenya Ports of Entry (Fee USD 50)
