Proof of Occupation
If Self Employed
- Company Registration Certificate / Certificate of Incorporation.
- Brief Company Profile.
- Articles of Memorandum (Incase the applicant is MD/Director).
- Proof of Proprietorship / Partnership (In case applicant is Proprietor / Partner in a firm).
- Import / Export License (if applicable).
If Employed
- Proof of employment like Salary Slip and Appointment Letter / NOC from Employer.
Student
- Leave Sanction Letter and ID card copy from school
- Parents have to provide ITR, Bank statement and NOC letter
If you are under 18, you must also submit
- If you are travelling alone – An original letter of consent signed by both parents and a copy of their passport (first & last page)/marriage certificate.
- If you are travelling with only one of your parents – An original letter of consent from the other parent and a copy of his/her passport (first & last page).
- If the parent you are travelling with has single custody – A copy of the certificate of single custody
New Procedure for Schengen Visa Applications:
With immediate effect, Indian citizens travelling to Schengen countries for short-term (max 90 days in 180 days) will have to visit VFS visa application centre personally to provide biometric data (fingerprints and digital photograph). For subsequent applications within next 5 years the biometric data will be copied from the previous visa application included in the VIS.
