• Passport: Original Passport with the validity of minimum three months, beyond the intended duration of stay in the schengen territory and minimum two blank pages for visa stamping.
  Please Note:
  a) Attach all old passports (if any).
  b) Two copies of passport’s first & last page has to be submitted.
  c) If passport has been extended, copy of the same should also be enclosed.
  d) Passports with any “observations” will not be accepted.
• Schengen Visa Application Form : One visa application form to be duly filled and signed by the applicant on column 37 and main column. The following forms also need to be duly filled, signed and submitted along with the visa application form:
  a) Appendix D
  b) Consent-Form
  c) Consent Form for Minors (if applicable) to be signed by both parents.
  d) Medical Insurance Declaration Form .
  Please note: Applicant mobile number & E-mail Id should be mentioned in visa form as Embassy can contact the applicant at any point of time during visa processing.
• Photo Specification: Two recent passport size color photographs with matt or semi matt finish, 80% face coverage, white background and without border (Size: 35mm x 45mm).
  Please note: Photograph should not be more than six months old,scanned/stapled and should not be used in any of the previous visas.
• Covering Letter: Covering-Letter from applicant mentioning his name, designation, passport number, purpose and duration of visit in brief. The letter should be duly signed by the applicant and addressed to – The Visa Officer,Embassy of Sweden, New Delhi.
  Please Note: Covering-Letter on Letterhead if applicant is Self Employed or on plain paper if Employed.

• Airline Reservation: Ticket Itinerary
• Accommodation Proof: Hotel Booking for the entire period of stay as per the tour itinerary.
  Please Note: Hotel should match the ticket dates and maximum stay should be in Sweden.
• Medical: Travel Medical Insurance for the stay duration amounting to 30,000 Euros.
  Please Note: Insurance has to be done by the Authorized Insurance Companies

If Self Employed

• Personal bank statement for last 3 months with stamp and signature.Note :Bank statement Should be on A4 Size Paper.
• Income tax declaration for the last two assessment years.

If Employed

• Bank Statement for last 3 months with stamp and signature. Note :Bank statement Should be on A4 Size Paper.
• Income tax declaration for the last two assessment years.
• Pay slips for the last 3 months, employment contract and employers statement on approval of holidays.
  Please Note : All the documents should be provided only in A4 size sheet.

If Self Employed

• Company Registration Certificate.
• Proof of Proprietorship / Partnership deed (in case applicant is partner in the firm).

If Employed

• Three months salary slip.
• NOC from the employer.

Student

• Leave Sanction Letter from the school on its letter head.

In case of minor

• An NOC to be duly signed by both the parents.
• Authorization Letter: Applicant will have to submit an authorization letter authorizing Nitin/Vinod/Abhishek from Udaan India Private Limited to submit and collect documents.

With immediate effect, Embassy has announced that representatives cannot collect the documents on behalf of applicant from Sweden Visa Application Centres except in following conditions :

• Immediate family member(that is Parents, Children, Spouse)
• One member of a family group collecting the passports of the whole family.
• A person collecting on behalf of Government officials if authorized on the Government letter head or department.

If any of the above comes for passport collection they need to carry the following documents:

• Original Government ID card
• Original ICR
• Original authorization letter from applicant

However, applicants who do not wish to collect their documents in person & whose documents cannot be collected by one of the above, will get their passports back by courier at an additional cost of Rs. 300/- to the dispatch address mentioned in the Covering-Letter which has to be submitted along with the visa application.

• Embassy may ask for any additional documents or may call the applicant for the interview.
• If applicant is holding a valid Sweden visa in his old passport, he can travel to Sweden with the same by carrying his new passport along with the old passport.

With immediate effect, Indian citizens travelling to Schengen countries for short-term (max 90 days in 180 days) will have to visit VFS visa application centre personally to provide biometric data (fingerprints and digital photograph). For subsequent applications within next 5 years the biometric data will be copied from the previous visa application included in the VIS.
